Mrs. Dolores Griffith
EMPOW.H.E.R., VICE PRESIDENT
From an early age, Delores Griffith was instilled with the values of kindness, generosity, and service to others—principles that have guided her throughout her life.
With an impressive 22-year career on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs, Delores served as a Financial Librarian, preparing critical documents for trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Her professional journey also led her to education, where she spent 13 years as an Assistant Teacher at a private Christian school, shaping young minds with knowledge and faith.
Her unwavering commitment to service extends to the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., where she has served faithfully on local, district, and international levels. She has held esteemed positions, including Recording Secretary, Vice President, and Superintendent of the International Sunday School Association, dedicating her life to spiritual growth and education.
Beyond the church, Delores has been a pillar in her community. She has served on numerous community and educational boards, working alongside the New York City Police Department (NYPD) Community Affairs and the Board of Education as a PTA President and SLT member, ensuring that the needs of families and students are met.
Her greatest calling, however, has been in her home. Alongside her husband of nearly 44 years, Delores has opened her heart and home to 35 foster children, adopting five beautiful children as her own. Her life is a testament to selflessness, love, and the power of giving.
When you think of EmpowH.E.R, you think of Delores Griffith—the true epitome of strength, help, and service.
